Maribelia Avalos was born in Michoacan, Mexico and came to Colorado at an early age and later became a U.S. citizen. The Denver businesswoman and nonprofit leader graduated from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado with honors. She is fluent in Spanish and provides interpreting and consulting services for Webb Group International.
